Hotel & Resorts MINAMIBOSO

I stayed in the hotel for 14 nights, the hotel has everything: slippers, AC, wireless, TV, etc. Hotel has a hot spring that open till very late, I enjoyed it every night. I had a room that with sea view, which was great. And next to the hotel there is a beach next to the sea that you can enjoy beautiful sunrise/sunset. The hotel provides breakfast, I personally like it very much, it also has a few restaurants, provides typical Japanese food, it was moderate and it was not cheap.

Was pleasantly surprised to learn that this hotel is infant friendly. Breakfast buffet also included kewpie baby food

The hotel is located at the tip of a small peninsula in Minamiboso. It’s hard to get around without a car and restaurants in the area close early during the week. However there are a ton of good seafood places nearby and the area is just beautiful. A great place to relax and go for day trips.

It was ok, but no coffee in the room. Even numbered rooms are facing to the ocean, but odds numbered rooms are poor view. Breakfast was good, but poor quality in Izakaya restaurant with high price.

Lovely resort, with an amazing location at Taibusamisaki Nature Park! It's quite far from the train station with not many dining choices, but there is a complimentary shuttle bus which corresponds to the train and bus schedule. The hotel is in the nature park and very interesting to hike around the area. There is a visitor center right before you reach the hotel but no maps or information in English, although the staff is very friendly. The room we had was a Japanese room where the staff comes in and makes the futon bed on the floor for you. Very beautiful and comfortable. There is a fridge, a hot water kettle, and tea making set, but get some coffee at reception if you prefer that. After hiking, we enjoyed the deep soaking tub in the room, or if you prefer, a Japanese outdoor bath is available for guests. Yukata cotton kimono is provided for relaxing in the room or around the hotel except in the restaurant at dinner time. Unfortunately, the room temperature was not adjustable, so it was a little warm for us. Also, the third floor where we were was a smoking floor so it smelled quite strong in the hallway. Fortunately our room smelled like tatami, which is like fresh grass. Excellent breakfast was included in our rate. It was a very authentic Japanese breakfast with local springtime seasonal dishes like pumpkin in peanut sauce, and fresh bamboo shoots. Many western choices also such as ham, sausage, eggs, and pastries. Not much support for English speakers.

Nice clean facilities, and food was pretty good too.

The hotel was lovely with a nice breakfast buffet. We enjoyed our time there even though the weather was uncooperative. The staff was friendly and helpful. They gave our daughter her own check-in bag, which she loved! They had some English speaking staff too.

Beautiful location! We really enjoyed the surrounding park. It is far away from shops and restaurants though. If you don’t choose a full-board plan, be sure to eat before you arrive. We were unable to make a reservation at either of the restaurants for dinner due to the influx of bus tours and were left with the overpriced izakaya (Japanese style pub) option with no menu choices for the little one. We were able to opt in for breakfast and it was good, but extremely crowded with fairly long waits for the table and in the buffet lines. If there were more dining options on site, or even a convenience store, it would have been a better stay.

コロナで外出もままならない中、気分転換にと1泊しました。平日チェックインだったにもかかわらず、客は家族連ればっかりで、ただでさえ狭いプールは浮き輪と子供立ちと親たちで溢れていて、こちらは結局プールを利用できませんでした。 部屋は広くて快適な作りになっていましたが、テーブルの上などはホコリだらけでした。ただ、自分で拭いた後もホコリが残っていたので、掃除は丁寧にやっていただいたと思います(部屋またはエアコンがホコリっぽく、ホコリが溜まりやすいのかも) エレベーターをー降りたら、大きな窓からキレイな海を見ることができ、嬉しかったです。 ホテル周辺には海と自然があり、楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。 売店の女性スタッフさんと入り口に立っていた男性のスタッフさんはとても感じのよい方でした。丁寧な対応が印象に残っています。 しかし、エレベーターと朝食会場のコロナ対策は、改善が必要と感じました。 チェックインの際にもらう案内には「コロナ予防のため、エレベーターは4人まで」と書いてありました。 しかし、私たち2人が既に乗っているのに、4人家族が平気で乗り込んできたため、仕方なく何回も何回も譲るしかありませんでした。特にプールが閉まる17時は、家族連れが大勢エレベーターに並んたので、エレベーターに乗るために10分以上待たなきゃなりませんでした。 「コロナ予防のためエレベーターは4人まで」という案内をエレベーターの前、エレベーターの中に貼ったりして、もっとしっかり注意喚起すべきではないかと思いました。 また、朝食会場は、手袋やマスク入れを用意するなど、最低限の対応はなされていましたが、ほとんど密閉した狭い空間に、マスクしてない人々がたくさんが集まっている形だったため、正直非常に不安を覚えました。(私たちは会場の外の入り口付近の空間？で食べましたが、料理を取りに会場に入るのも不安に思えました) また、ホテルの中はマスク着用が求められておらず、ゲームセンターやエレベーターなど至るところでマスクしてない人と接触することになりました。 スタッフさんがはフェイスシールドまで着用されておりましたので、コロナが落ち着くまでは、客にも館内マスク着用を義務化すべきと思います。その方がお互い気持ちよく過ごすことができるかなと思います。

海側の部屋で、とても景色が良く、ゆったりとした気持ちになりました。ただし、ソファーが窓に背を向けて配置されていて、景色を楽しむためには、立つ必要がありました。ソファーの配置をうまくやれば、もっと良いと思います。夕食のレストランが全て事前予約制で(除く)居酒屋）、当日申し込みは利用できないところは、是非、改善された方が良いと思います。
