We slept like rocks. The hotel staff were very accomodating and went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. Very nice breakfasts. Well communicated by train, bus and bicycle via the path running all the way to Glasgow and Bullock. Thank you ☺️

If everywhere else is fully booked then it’s fine. Other than that, the bedsheets were threadbare and had stains on them but as we had just arrived from a long haul flight we were too tired to care. Very friendly staff (if a little run off their feet at breakfast), very helpful regarding public transport times & best station to park at! Comfy bed, The menu being vegetarian only, not a problem for me (I do eat meat, but the pizza was lovely), but should be advertised as vegetarian only breakfast! Room needs a little updating, Not really an issue at the price though. Overall a nice place to stay, close to main road, but quiet enough at night. Would recommend

DO NOT STAY HERE. It is dirty, carpets are ripped up, we were led to back house with bars sticking out of the bathroom. No mirrors, no bedside tables and the heater was damaged. Unsafe room and should not be listed on Expedia.com as it is false advertising.
