Best Western Premier Arpoador Fashion Hotel

I was a bit surprised with the high reviews. The first floor feels like a basement. You can’t open the curtains and the rooms are below street level with a very insecure sliding door. Everyone seemed so friendly in Rio, except for a few of the people working the front desk. The man who helped with my luggage was very kind and continued to be throughout my visit. My front desk calls were never answered in the time I was there. The toilet seat needs to be changed and the sheets should be fitted on the mattress, rather than just a regular sheet laying across.

I really enjoyed staying at the Best Western Premier Arpoador Fashion Hotel. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The hotel's location was ideal, very close to the beach and shops. I will definitely stay there next time I'm in Rio :)

The property was clean and tidy. Cleanliness was good. Needed some updating however. Our toilet seat definitely needed changing it was all chipped

Beautiful design, spacious rooms (4 per floor) and super quiet. The breakfast had a good selection - but on the downside, despite having things marked as vegan, had no plant-based milks

Rooms were nice and clean design with all the main amenities. Breakfast was decent and they had sun beds on ipanema beach. Lovely staff and efficient service. I do think they should have dedicated shower/changing room for guests that check out early but have late flights, and they could probably do with a pool. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay!

This hotel was very clean and Modern. Close to everything

Good location, decent breakfast, AC works well. Staff was friendly and spoke English. Small rooms, restaurant menu is extremely limited, bed and bedding is low quality and uncomfortable. Bathroom fixtures are obviously cheap. Lighting is really harsh in the rooms, only one TV channel in English.

I liked the location of the property. It was a short walk to the beach. Some of the staff were very friendly but some of the others, particularly at breakfast, were a bit unfriendly. Breakfast was acceptable. The rooms are decent and quiet. I would stay at this hotel again, though I would probably look for one that was right on the beach next time.

The beds are not that great.

I loved the fact that the rooms were modern and clean, and the website photos are accurate! However, they didn’t provide “face towels” to wash your face or body with... not good for those who actually uses hand/face towels to bathe with. That was a challenge, so I got myself to a more expensive Hotel and helped myself to a few wash towels in order to properly bathe/clean my body with. The breakfast was wonderful to have every morning! So kudos for that! However, the hotel had a day of problems with the water source; therefore, the entire hotel was down and out of water so no one could shower that morning.... ugh! 😩 And, sadly the staff didn’t warn us of the water being off nor did they comps us of anything like a cocktail or something... not cool at all, being that the days were rather hot & humid and not able to shower daily. Overall, however, being in Rio made up for the hiccups at the hotel!
