First Cabin TKP Nagoyaeki

This hotel was very clean and the onsen and bathroom facilities were very good. It was also conveniently located near to the main station. However we ordered 2 adjacent business class rooms which on the website shows as 2 rooms with enough space beside and under the bed to keep your luggage. However we were given capsule rooms where our luggage had to be kept separately. These rooms were fine but not as advertised. The beds were also EXTREMELY hard so I didn't get a wink of sleep. The breakfast left a lot to be desired also as it just included a few odd, rather hard pastries.

I’ve been travelling 4 months and have been to many similar, capsule hotel, type places. This is the best one so far. Spacious and comfortable beds, in capsule ventilation, quiet, helpful staff, and great amenities. Well thought out capsules for keeping the sleeping space quiet from soft close doors to rubberized clothes hangers. I also loved having coffee to self playing mini grand piano in the morning.

The room is clean and the staff are nice. A little bit far from Nagoya station. 5-10 mins walk for JR and 10-15 mins for Meitetsu, subway and all those department store. Many restaurants in the station. The first class cabin is large enough to stay comfortably. However you must remember to bring your key card anytime. Everything including washroom are outside the locked door. It would be better if tapping the card is also required for getting out to prevent being locked outside.

There are only two showers for all the men (over a hundred or more). The capsule air conditioning for the capsule puts out air so dry that it nearly destroyed my sinuses and caused really bad migraines. I cannot stay there ever again.

Really good option for solo traveller. The location is so good, near subway and very centre of the city.
