In Codevigo, in the green of the Venice lagoon, is this beautiful semi-detached holiday home with shared swimming pool and sauna.
The accommodation is part of a semi-detached house (the other unit is IVC202), both units have a private entrance with their own garden, ideal to spend beautiful evenings dining in the starlight. The swimming pool and patio with sun loungers are shared. The area offers excursions, on foot or by bicycle, in a lagoon landscape between water channels. Near the house you can rent bicycles, canoes, kayaks for excursions in the lagoon and at the Boschettona beach (5 km), as well as relaxing in the sun, kite surfing is possible. This is also an ideal place for bird watching. Upon reservation by the owner, a Nordic walking instructor will accompany you on your excursions.
The accommodation (on the first floor) is accessed via a staircase. From the windows you can admire a splendid landscape of the lagoon and, on clear days, you can see Venice and the bell tower of San Marco. The area is famous for the production of asparagus and the owners offer tasting and purchase possibilities, as well as other own produced specialties (radicchio, cucumber, onion jams). A large room on the ground floor is reserved for dinners with a cook that can be booked directly to the owners.
The house is a convenient base for visiting the most beautiful places in Veneto: at 1 km is a bus stop to reach Venice (20 min.). Venice and the islands of the lagoon can also be visited by boat from Chioggia (15 km). The other main cities of art are also nearby: Padua (25 km) with its basilica; Vicenza (65 km) and its Palladian architecture; Treviso (60 km) with its canals and palaces. Do not miss the splendid medieval towns of Chioggia, Bassano del Grappa, Castelfranco Veneto.
Possibility to participate in wine tasting evenings and tastings of local products with an expert sommelier (the owner) and horseback riding (costs to be defined on site).
