The property was average. The room had some updates, but the decor had alot of whinsy. The manager made efforts but i could tell she has had to deal with alot difficult customers. The hurricane caused my flights to be cancelled so i had to leave abruotly, but was refused to ger a partial refund of any kind. Didnt leave a good feel.

The place was just okay. It’s called a bed and breakfast but barely any breakfast. Staff even said that. They use Styrofoam and expected to put it in the microwave. Bright lights on all night with no blackout windows. Rooms were okay. Paint coming off the ceiling in the bathroom.

Worst place ever
Don’t stay here if you have high expectations. We had the presidential suite the biggest unit. Has two floors. Lots of room. But lots of almost broken things. It would have been fine, if the AC worked so them not having that fixed until our last day was a nightmare. We had a 4 day reservation and only the first day was alright. We had 3 babies and we were in there with 88 degrees and the lady there said she couldn’t do anything other than call the owner to send someone to fix it. Guess what someone came at 11 pm !! For a whole hour to try and fix it and only got it to work for 10 hours while we slept. So two days during the whole day it was hotter inside than outside. You literally don’t see any customer service person until the check in time. She is only available then. Anyone with little kids should never stay here. I should have called the police when we had to suffer through that.

Terrible don’t stay here. Staff was rude the place was dirty. Hole’s in the wall and the bed mattress had a big crevice in it that they knew about and rented out the room anyway. They changed me a $200 un authorized fee. The rooms smelled musky and mildew.

The bedroom floor was dirty we found a dirty diaper in the room. Only two towels were provided during the todays od stay. The bed had an old mattress and old flimsy pillows. Breakfast was terrible frozen waffles with cold coffee and nasty orange water not juice. The site needs more cleaning and maintence throughout. 0verall Iwill not recommend or use this place again.

My experience here at this hotel was terrible the front desk clerk was very rude and disrespectful she wouldn’t wouldn’t let me check in early and I have traveled a long way to check into the hotel she slammed the door in my face and told me no I couldn’t check in early I didn’t get the correct room I paid for my girlfriend was pregnant that was a reason I wanted to check in early even if I had to pay more I had to go other places until I could get checked in at 4:00pm when I arrived at 11:00am it was just a terrible experience I will not stay here again or recommend any one to stay here at this hotel and the money it’s not worth paying at this hotel I was very disappointed

The 24 hour service is untrue, there is one member on staff for 8 hours a day. They give you a single key for your stay and the doorknobs are a bit broken. So my girlfriend and I wanted to see if the pool was clean (debatable), and the doorknob locked behind us due to a faulty spring. This means we were locked out at 10 am and had to sleep in the back of our car the first day of the stay. I called expedia and they called the property owner who claimed "we have stayed there for two weeks and keep losing keys", even though at that point we had been checked in for 6 hours. No apology in the morning and the breakfast is just eggos and stale cereal.

Highly disappointed!!
I will never stay at this place again! There was an unauthorized 200 dollar deposit and it took 7 days to be refunded back to my card. The lady at the front desk was rude and seemed to be irritated about any and everything. The pool was extremely dirty the room was also dirty. My boyfriend discovered 2 people in the parking lot they both appeared to be on drugs slumped over. I tired to call this place multiple times in regards to the unauthorized deposit and I never got an answer. Very unprofessional

I’ll start with the good. Being more north it is quieter and it was an easy 2 block walk to the public beach access. The pool was also very nice. We had kids with us and it was deep enough for the big kids and adults and had a nice shallow area for the younger kids to enjoy as well. The bath towels were nice and plenty were provided. The negative. We booked the “apartment” as this was a family trip and there were 10 of us total. We submitted the number of people when booking the trip. There was was not enough pillows or bedding so we ended up having to make a last minute run to a local Walmart get our own bedding as the the office closes at 6pm and the attendant never returned any of our phone calls. To be fair it does state on the info that the front office is not 24 hours but a call back even the next day would have been appreciated. The free continental breakfast was frozen toaster waffles, off brand cereal, and instant oatmeal packets. Additionally the orange juice was also a powder mix. The unit we were in sort of had central air but it wasn’t strong enough to cool the entire place so they had individual units in each bedroom. The 2nd night we were there the unit in one of the bedroom stopped working. We called and of course no call back. To be fair it was around 7:30pm and the attendant had left. It was just too hot so we left early and checked into a different hotel. Again no call back. Even the next day. All things considered I wouldn’t book here again.

Travellers be aware!! Do not go to this hotel, it is not safe AT ALL!! First of all at the time we checked in, the front desk smelled cigarettes So bad. The lady gave us the keys for the 2 room we booked, but to our surprise on one of the rooms the door lock was broken on the inside so it couldn't lock or unlock. And for the second room key didn't work either. BIG ISSUE because there were 3 kids. In addition to that, the light switch was taped holding electric cable. We were told no to touch it otherwise we would not have not lights in the room. Not forgetting the conforter were moist, we were told they were cold. When booking I understood it was an unexpensive rustic place but THAT WAS TOO MUCH! When addressing all these issues with the lady, she stood behand no refund policy! We did not stay there, and I requested ny money back to hotel and Expedia but no results! What a shame!! I was charged for a service to be defective and no owner answer not Expedia help! I would strongly appeal to owner of this place to be fair to customers and refund my money, and be aware of promises needed improvement.
