This apartment and the Abbey were recently chosen by the Amazon Prime "Grand Tour" car television series as their base for the filming of their Scottish Highlands show.
The Highland Club facilities include a beautiful 10 meter heated indoor swimming pool ('Chapel Pool') located in the Pugin designed Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament, a steam room, and a sauna. Pugin’s sandstone walls are set off by a Brazilian green slate floor and large ornate windows affording stunning views across the Great Glen. The complex is serviced by a small changing room, shower and storage lockers. The gym is located on the floor below with weights, running, rowing and cycling equipment. Outside there's tennis courts, badminton, a barbeque fronting Loch Ness, a Giant Chessboard, adventure playground, 5-a-side football, as well as may other outdoor activities located around Loch Ness. So much to do!

This is an excellent choice for any group or family looking for something a bit different to the norm with all the creature comforts and more. This modern two-bedroom (and double sofa), ground floor apartment is located in the Brothers Wing and is one of the most historically important sections of The Highland Club - built within the original bastion walls, this would have housed the armoury used in defence of the fort dating back to 1716. Just ten meters from the adjoining free parking area, and immediately on the shores of Loch Ness, it is one of the most convenient and accessible properties within The Highland Club.
The property is well equipped based on up to 6 guests, (plus a baby). While benefiting from all the facilities, The Highland Club has lots more than most Scottish Highland holiday lets have to offer and is one of a few mobility friendly properties at the Abbey. A sofa bed is available in the lounge for more than 4 guests (not suitable for adults) with an additional fee for the extra bed linen and towels.
Accessed via The Brothers’ Wing courtyard, and with all modern comforts and conveniences, this property just steps away from the Club Lounge, the Monastery Lawn, Loch Ness, the Boathouse Restaurant and, as already mentioned, a variety of leisure facilities offered within this fabulous development, so it is the ideal place to enjoy everything on your doorstep, plus more when adventuring out into the Highlands themselves.
