The Covered Bridge Inn

The pillows the size of small throw pillows. Very uncomfortable and made for a bad sleep

We travel frequently and locally and it’s always a pleasure to stay at the Covered Bridge Inn. The rooms have been updated, nice tv’s with streaming services, comfy bed, but most importantly it’s very, very clean. Don’t let the small local name of it fool you. I’ve found it’s the cleanest place in town.

Staff was helpful and accommodating, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

I’m wasn’t impressed with the check 8n experience, and the phone system was so antiquated it wasn’t fixed till the next day. After a long walk to the office because I needed to stay another night and the first try to fix the phone didn’t work, I was told that the price I’d paid the night before which was $15.over the advertised rate and the same amount over the next door motel which was much nicer, he informed me it would cost me another $10, $25 over the nicer place. The clientele seem long term subsidy recipients and the boom box blasting left a lot to be desired. Granted they have an Olympic indoor pool. It wasn’t.t worth it.

The room was okay, a little disappointed in the check in despite signs stating masks necessary the others checking in did not have masks, nor did the other guests who entered the lobby. This made me question the cleanliness of the room. We did spray everything with Lysol and wipe things down with Clorox wipes. When we left the hotel there was a gentleman cleaning his shotgun in the tailgate of his truck. Wasn't hirrible but definitely not worth the $180 a night stay.

It wasn't what we expected. Somewhat rundown/outdated. Our room wasn't that clean. Didn't realize they let pets stay there-so there was barking at night. We would not stay there again nor recommend it.

We paid a hefty price because it was a holiday weekend and we booked the day before. We were grateful to find a place. This is an old, worn down basic hotel that has never been updated. The cleaning staff clearly work really hard to keep it as clean as possible but with a property this run down, that’s a tall order. It’s a pet friendly hotel and our room smelt like urine. I will say that the bed was very comfortable and that the young staff were friendly and accommodating.

Our unit had the worst bathroom. I can understand being outdated, but it was falling apart. Cigarette stains on the sink, low water pressure, the tub floor was flexing as you stood in it, crazy calling everywhere...someone’s hair on the back of the toilet (was it even cleaned?)... Trash overflowing from Saturday afternoon well into Sunday afternoon..hallways smell old and musty.. Will not return.
