Upon our arrival, no one at hotel, no reception and no check-in. Called Hotels.com and received NO help. Finally a person arrived to share you had to go to a different hotel to register for this one. This was 45 minutes after arriving to a "deserted" hotel.
Upon registration, staff was amazing and friendly. Confusion over what we booked and the facilities expected, they helped resolve this and we went back to the hotel.
On entering the room, there is a heavy heavy smell of mold with some visible around the air ducts. It was difficult to stay any period of time, but we persisted.
When it was time for bed, we were met by a slew of ants in the bedroom and bathroom. This was definitely not a good stay at all and seeking help by Hotels.com was unsuccessful again. Only phone numbers to get assistance, no chat or email we can use.
By morning we were tired, cranky and my wife's allergies flared up with the heavy stench of mold. We left after the first night of a 3 day booking.
We contacted the hotel to advise we left and would not be returning, they advised to contact hotels.com for the refund, but they are difficult to get a hold of at best. I think our experience with Hotels.com further leads to a bad visit.
This was a shame because staff were fantastic!, but the facility would barely make a 2-3 star, at best and there are also no amenities on site such as ice, refreshment, etc...
