Torremolinos, just south of the central city of Malaga, has many amazing seafood restaurants and hotels along the waterfront La Carihuela village. The pedestrian-only Calle San Miguel is a bustling shopping district that leads directly to Playa Bajondillo.

For family entertainment, the Aqualand waterpark is the largest of its kind in the area, offering multiple slides, pools, and rapids. The beach area of Torremolinos is busiest during summer when its many resorts, hotels, and apartments are at full capacity. A 7-km promenade links 6 main beaches of Torremolinos – Los Alamos, Playamar,  El Saltillo, Playa Bajondillo, La Carihuela, and Montemar.
