Great location on great road with lots of restaurants bars and shops. Property shows age but still comfy and clean. Very friendly staff offered early check in as room was ready.

I was ghosted by the host after reporting that the wifi didn't work, and then told by the property management company that I'd have to pay for toilet paper or clean towels. The wifi was not functional through my entire 8 days in Buenos Aires.
No attempt made by host to reconcile, until the property management company contacted me about the wifi (asking which room i was in again) a few hours before check out.
Sad state of affairs. Do better.

Great rooftop pool! Clean and well-stocked space. Only issues we had was with communicating about check in. Phone number was hard to reach but I guess that’s also because we didn’t have an ARG #. Other than that, things were great.

I stayed two nite at the Ayres, two to many. Arriving at the place, I didn’t feel « welcomed », the front staff Is a security person, wearing a uniform, no English and cold as ! No issues with the room overall but very noisy, had a room front st, noise doesn’t stop till early morning ! I don’t speak Spanish, that made it difficult, For that reason I would stay again !

WARNING- FOREIGNERS NOT WELCOMED
To begin with this is not a hotel, they are just apartments managed by some company, and there is no concierge or anything. The administration office is in the building, but from 9am to 5pm, you need anything outside those hours, you are on your own. There isn’t even a phone in the room to communicate with the night guard downstairs. NOW THE SKETCHY PART, my reservation was to be paid when I check in with local currency, so I checked in, and I handed my credit card to pay in pesos and I was told that form of payment was not acceptable with local currency, they will have to charge me in dollars, and they have a different exchange rate than the credit card has (lower), hence, I ended up paying double the price quoted. The price in pesos is only for locals, not foreigners. Just to be clear, I used my credit card to pay in pesos everywhere else with no problem, is just a switcheroo they do to charge you more. I said that was not indicated in the reservation but they gave me no option than go to exchange some money around the corner and come back (btw, it’s a stack of paper).I was tired from my long trip and wanted to rest, so I went along with it. So be careful, if you are a foreigner, there is a price for locals and a price for foreigners. Now the review of the place, is not the cleanest place on earth, is not pleasant to find hair in the shower drain from the previous guest, and bed cover with holes and stains. Sofa also had some suspicious stains and was scratched.NOT GOOD

Localização ótima, perto do metrô, mercados e comércio em geral. Bem próximo a pontos gastronômicos e turísticos. A acomodação é ótima para viagens curtas, de no máximo uma semana. Equipe de atendimento eficiente, educada e simpática.

A estadia foi ótima, tinha gente o tempo todo na recepção, o check-in e check-out foram bem rápidos e foram atenciosos comigo e minha família. A localização é excelente, tinha muita coisa por perto que dava pra fazer a pé. O chuveiro é ótimo, bem quente e saia muita água. Não ouvíamos quase nada de barulho da rua. A única coisa que poderia melhorar é o colchão, que tinha umas partes mais altas do que outras e a quantidade de produtos de higiene que acabaram muito rápido.
