Do not stay here, this is a halfway house for ex offenders and drug addicts paid for by the tax payer

Lack of power point next to the kettle but other than that bed was very comfy, the other facilities were good. Perfect for what we needed.

I stayed here for 3 nights. Good location, shops nearby. I would have preferred to have a net curtain being on the ground floor because my room was facing a main road and didn't have much privacy unless I closed the curtains. But I would stay here again.

The reviews for this hotel was recorded as 'good' however this hotel was awful, it was dirty and had not been cleaned at all. no one should have to stay in something in such poor conditions.

A down market motel. The room was small but the bed comfortable. Parking may be charged although they gave it me free. Reception was fine and the staff efficient. Ok for a night stop over but no more.

The location of the hotel was convenient for my visit. The room, bathroom and bedding were clean but the room could do with refurbishing as the decor and furniture was a little tired and dated. All members of staff were friendly and very helpful. The parking was convenient, as were the local bakery and great coffee shop.

We booked deluxe double which def want deluxe. The room smelt awful due to two different smelling air fresheners trying to hide the musty smell. The furniture was wobbly and the room was grubby and needed a good clean.

I know this was a cheap break away but I wish we’d not bothered. There is no real security at the hotel. Just an old fashioned Yale lock on the bedroom door. Anyone can access the inside of the hotel during the day. Our bathroom light buzzed on and off all night even though it wasn’t switched on. The room was very small with furniture that looked like a misc job lot from a warehouse. The hotel needs a complete refurb. However the TV worked and there’s a couple of takeaways near by. Parking was good.

All was great for the price and the staff were really friendly. The staff warned us about the lift that was not working and even came to see if the room was ok which it was. The highlight was the walk along the river into the city and the breakfast from the place round the corner. We will stay again if in town.
