I stayed in this hotel as it was before it closed now rooms have been updated but the mattress was terrible .now no bar or restaurant that's a shame. I would stay again ok for a night or two as not as bad price and convenient

Value hotel well placed for utilita arena and train. Basic with no bar or food but room was good size. Crazy pump sound when flushing toilet or draining bath.

Perfectly fine for a night or two. Excellent location right next to the station. I had a recently revamped room, which had a nice overhead shower and carpet. I've stayed at the Britannia hotels in Manchester and Scarborough and went here with v low expectations but was pleasantly surprised as this was so much better than them!

Rough place and there was a drug deal taking place right out the front of the hotel as I was leaving. Not a place for families but it is close to the station

Excellent location. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the bathroom was nice. Good amenities. Only real cons were quite a bit of noise could be heard from other rooms, and there were some unsavoury characters sitting outside the hotel entrance and making comments when we came at night, which I appreciate is not the fault of the hotel

The room was nice and clean and the hotel is situated in a perfect location, with shops nearby. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

The shampoo and soap dispensers in the shower cubicle were empty. The television would only switch on; there was no broadcast signal and no internet connection. A perfect location but terrible service.

This hotel is cheap for a reason, it is very dated the lifts are on their last legs and it is extremely noisy. I was woken up by a huge fight in the corridor at 2am which went on for 40 mins before the Police arrived. It is well located and it looks like the bathrooms may have been done recently.
