Perhaps my worst hotel experience in 25 years. After storms went through the area just before check-in, the system went offline for over two days meaning no key cards could be issued and guests had to be escorted into their room any time the door closed behind them.
With long lines at elevators, and no provision to dear with additional security, I almost had someone try to get into my room, saying it was theirs. (Thankfully I had the lock on. Which deterred them from fully entering)
Additionally, only one of the three public elevators was working, and the toilet in my room would not shut off unless I manually reset it, every time it flushed. This was a busy weekend and the staff really did do their best, but it did cause issues for the full duration of the stay.
I stayed in the same hotel last summer and know it's fine when everything is working, but when everything was going wrong, it did have negative impact on my trip. I will really have to think twice or more about staying here in future trips to Cincinnati.
