Although the staff were friendly and the room was clean, I didn't have a particularly good experience beyond these factors.
For one thing, the front desk initially gave me incorrect information about the airport shuttle, and I could have missed my return flight. And while the front desk did get the correct info eventually, I had to ask a follow-up question about the shuttle schedule, and only then did I get the correct info. Not a problem with the staff – this is a training issue, for which management should take responsibility.
For another thing, the refrigerator in my unit was malfunctioning and made a continuously loud, terrible noise – I had to unplug it before getting to sleep.
Finally, while the room was very clean and everything was neat, the bed was a bit squishy and I didn't sleep as well as I would have liked.
If you need to stay near the SFO airport, I have to think there are better options.
