L'hôtesse Laura nous a accueillis très agréablement elle nous a remis un Panier de bienvenue avec 2 bouteilles d'eau, 2 pommes, 2 bananes, 2 barres énergétiques, 2 petits paquets de chips. Elle ne savait que faire pour nous être agréable.

Great stay, pleasant staff and goodie bag at check in. Not much to do around hotel. Downtown is Aprx 4 miles (6km) from hotel. Good for one or two nights.

Thumbs up Bay Willows Inn!!!!

Great place to stay and we will definitely return. Upon arrival we were given a bag full of welcome goodies with fruit, granola bars, chips, bottled water etc and $10 gift card to Dunkin donuts right across the street. Hotel has great, comfortable beds and is roomy. Only 3 miles from Newport Beach beaches. There is also a great ice cream stand right across the street. Great comfort, great hospitality, great location, comfortable beds. We will be back!

Sleeping after the festival.

We attended the Newport Jazz festival. The inn was a great and confortable spot and the price was excellent. The little goodie bag that they provided us with gave us breakfast for two days. The riim was quiet and peaceful We will come back here next year.

Enjoyable

Very friendly staff waited past closing time to check in late arrivals, provided a generous gift bag, and called us immediately when we forgot some items in our room. Room was very clean and quite comfortable, and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again if we go to that area.

Worked out great for Newport attractions

Excellent staff who give careful attention to both facility and guests. Good location with restaurants, bakery, ice cream close by. We were in the area for Newport's attractions and hesitated to select this motel because it wasn't closer to Thames St., mansions, etc., but Bay Willows worked great. Easy to get to downtown, beach, shopping. Highly recommend.

Nice place!

This was a nice little place. It was older, but in decent shape. The staff was very friendly. This was one of my favorite hotels on our trip, it was really inexpensive and nice, and although there was no breakfast, they gave us a goody bag with some fruit, bottled water and some candy when we checked in, nice touch. :)

Quaint,Quiet and Quality all Rolled Into One!

The person who checked me both in and out was really nice.I really appreciated the welcome bag with water and snacks in it because after traveling all day I didn't have to go hunt down and food.The room was one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in and the housekeeping staff went above and beyond with the extra touches with the towels and toilet paper.The trellisses with blooming roses were beautiful and the view out the back windows was of trees.It was just a very calming setting.The beds were comfortable too.I would definatly stay here again and choose it over a large chain any day!

Fair to good

Very disappointed driving on property. Room was pleasantly acceptable. Office closed at night 9PM-9AM. Very poor. Little amenities available. Staff very friendly and helpful. Price was great. Nervous about location. 1960's style for motel. No in-room coffee service. That is basic in today's world.

Real bang for the buck!

Like a trip to the past, although the decor was dated, the friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the room make this hotel an exceptional bargain for the casual traveler. The welcome bag of goodies was a pleasant surprise. My only suggestion would be to put an alarm clock in the rooms.

little GEM!

I am always on the road...life of the sales rep... and frankly this little jewel surpassed all my expectations. From the friendly call and text ( when I could not answer the phone) to advise their front desk would be closed and clear instructions ro access my accomodation, to arriving dead tired to a welcoming room, smelling clean and delicious, lights on, air conditioning ready, a friendly gift bag written by hand with 2 bottles of water, banana, apple, granola bars and come candy... yes the furniture is ancient..but the feel and care of how everything was prepared was just heart warming and so very comforting after a hard day on the road. Towels are fluffy and perfectly white plus made into fancy shapes like in a 5star hotel, even the toilet paper was shaped into a rose. TV is a bit too small for my taste, but that did not matter...comfy bed, comfy pillows.... relaxed and caring environment. The only thing that could be better is the WIFI to get an absolute perfect score. Good value for money. I have paid more to find myself in "murder-hotel"...and although I was afraid this could be like that, it was a charming little comfy place where I will keep going.!

A very nice place to stay on our trip

My wife and I recently stayed at this property. The staff called us by phone to check our arrival time and were waiting for us on our arrival. Our room was exactly as expected. The photos and info online were accurate. The room was very clean and extremely quiet and comfortable. We would defiantly stay here again.

Lodging while visiting Newport, RI.

The motel was a older type and while the interior was not modern, it was very clean with a very comfortable mattress. Plus, we got a complimentary goodie bag upon check in with water, fruit and candy! A nice surprise. The price and quality made this a great value.

Staff? What staff?

I received a phone call around 5PM asking what time I will be checking in. I told them around 8 or 9 PM. The lady said that there will be no staff on premises when I check in. She said the keys to my room will be taped to the door of the office. When she told me that, I could not believe it. I actually rushed to the inn to check in earlier, and I got there around 6:30 PM. There was no one there. My key was taped in an envelop with a label "Guest." How safe is that?!?! Due to this occurrence, I actually feared for my safety. The inn isn't visually appealing. I actually felt unsafe. I wish I spent more on a real hotel with staff because I was so uneasy the whole night. Maybe it's because I was paranoid. I was a female travelling solo, so I was a bit scared. In the morning, I checked in at the front desk, and the guy explained that the lady had to leave early because she was pregnant and no one could cover for her. Things happen, and I understand. I also didn't receive a welcome bag that others received that contained a $5 Dunkin Donuts gift card for breakfast. Mehh. Not my luck I guess.

Cute Little Hideaway

A vintage motel cute, clean and comfortable. Would recommend good price. Close to attractions
