The interior design of the hotel was well-done, with ample use of gold-colored accents and a lot of attention to detail. It provided an intimate hotel experience, very different from the larger chain hotels.

Our stay at Hotel Teatro was wonderful The staff, including Ana, Carlos and Joanna, was very friendly and accommodating; they were full of excellent and helpful suggestions. The breakfasts were outstanding and the staff goes above and beyond in that regard as well. We would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is EXCELLENT! It is on a quiet side street in the town center and only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach/ ocean front. From the moment we walked into the lobby we knew we were somewhere special. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was amazing. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island.

The room was spotless, and it was cleaned every day- fresh towels, bed made, coffee refilled…. The breakfast was outstanding- so much variety and excellent quality. We loved our stay and we would highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel was amazing quality and location. This was my first time in Terceira and this is where I will stay next time. Next trip I have to try their sister restaurant.

Absolutely beautiful hotel in the best area with many shops and restaurant choices as well as a beautiful botanical garden just a short walk away. The hotel staff was exceptional. The amenities were amazing. We especially loved the sauna and jacuzzi after long days exploring Terceira. We had fantastic breakfast every morning and they made us cappuccinos and the best local teas. We would give our highest rating for our stay! :)

Elegantly decorated boutique hotel in an excellent location for exploring the city. Room was very comfortable and staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was not very extensive but still quite lovely. We loved relaxing in the jacuzzi tub, sauna, and outdoor pool - it's small but we had it to ourselves! Hotel has only two designated parking spots for an extra 20€ fee. Parking was a bit of a pain mostly due to Portugal Day street closures, but it was easy to find street parking nearby once everything was open again.

Carlos at the front desk was amazing! He went out of his way for his, even running next door to make a reservation for us for dinner. He was very engaging and we had a fantastic conversation with him during our stay. The room was so beautiful with a fantastic attention to detail. We used both the hot tubs and steam and sauna as well. The breakfast buffet was just ok, so we ordered an omelette, which was good. We had a great stay.

Perfectly located in downtown area within minutes of walking to shops and restaurants. Friendly staff who are accommodating and go above and beyond. Breakfast options were great too. Being able to reserve a parking spot was a plus since we had a car.

Une surprise…. De toutes nos destinations, sur différents continent, c’est la meilleure expérience hôtelière que nous ayons vécu! Le moindre détail est pensé, le petit déjeuner est fabuleux, la literie excellente. Propreté irréprochable. Cerise sur le gâteau, un personnel bienveillant, accueillant, prévenant. Mention spéciale à Joanna et Fabio qui ont été des hôtes exceptionnels, tant par leur gentillesse que par leur compétence. Pour sûr, si nous repassons à Terceira, c’est là que nous viendrons!

I loved my time here. First and foremost, staff always had a smile and greeting and were ever ready to help me with any queries or bookings. The setting was intimate, with only 18 rooms, with coffee on tap every morning and hot breakfasts cooked to order. The 7.30am start also meant I was fully fed and watered before heading off on a tour, hike, boat trip, etc. My room opened up to the pool area, so I was able to benefit from that either side of the breakfast while letting the coffee kick in (coffee machine in room too). I also frequented the pool area in the afternoons, whether to sit on a rocking chair to read or simply dose off on a sunbed. I also made occasional use of the gym, steam bath, hot tub and sauna too. Finally, this is a very central location which was two minutes from cafes in the squares and park and three or four minutes from a wide range of really good restaurants.

Perfect Stay at the Boutique Hotel Teatro. It's a extremly charming Hotel with Style. Would describe it's as a Palacete early 19th century so if you not into old-fashion its maybe not for you. If you like that you will love the Teatro. Super friendly staff and a great surrounding near the heaven with Café and Restaurants rounds off the very good Impression.
