Room was excellent and Hospitality was the best i have had. Karl really went the exra mile to make sure everything from the room to your breakfast was perfect. Will 100% stay here again and i would even say this was soo much better than alot of hptels i have stayed in.

A must-stay in Dorchester
Jocelyn and Karl are the perfect hosts. So friendly, beautiful boutique hotel, delicious breakfasts, very accommodating, and always offering suggestions and recommendations that are spot on. Their industry experience and warm nature is such a welcome combination for a hotel. The property is located on High Street as a great location in proximity to museums, shops, restaurants, and transportation. The room was immaculate and spacious for two people with a separate private sitting room. Anything we needed, they had and gladly helped. And with a smile. Other guests were mature. No parties or loud noises from other guests.

I frequently go to Dorch for business. The room is excellent and quiet, and the bed is very comfy. Very accommodating owner to provide early breakfast at the weekend. Parking close by.

Karl and his partner were absolutely lovely, very welcoming and friendly! The rooms are stunning and very comfortable, walking distance to everything in Dorchester. I had the best time, i strongly recommend this guest house!!

Lovely stay!
Lovely place in a great location. Owners were fantastic and as I couldn’t stay for breakfast due to having a meeting early in the morning made me a delicious bacon butty for the road! Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

A great boutique B&B. The owners are super nice and accommodating. The breakfast was perfect. The room was beautiful and spacious. If it were in London you would be paying 4 times as much!

Perfect guest house
The breakfasts were amazing, Karl and Jocelyn were delightful, and the room was furnished with understated good taste. Lots of little touches - gorgeous sandalwood soap, Tunnoch's milk chocolate caramel wafers, lovely solid waterglasses, comfy sofa, thick pile carpet - and it's all unbelievably clean. (We used to run a guest house ourselves and know clean when we see it.) Oh, and there's a fabulous dog. The guest house is perfectly located, especially if you're planning a visit to the splendid Dorset Museum and Art Gallery. We don't often leave reviews but Westwood House is exemplary.

Excellent for Dorchester and Jurassic coast
Excellent breakfast, and a lot of choice (tried multiple things during stay, all were excellent). Bathroom huge and very comfy. Fantastic hosts. Would stay again anytime.

Westwood House is a real gem! Such a warm welcome from Karl, felt at home immediately. It's really central and my room was fantastic, with a little area to do my work which was separate to the sleeping area. Really comfortable bed with good linen and all spotlessly clean. Breakfast was just amazing. Huge choice and everything I tried was plentiful, of the best quality and beautifully cooked. I was sad to leave and would love to go back.

We were in Dorchester for two days to explore Thomas Hardy country. Westwood Guest House was an excellent small inn that fit our needs perfectly. We especially liked the excellent breakfasts at the inn and the friendliness of Tom the proprietor.
