Jag tyckte att det funkade perfekt för en ensamresa till Gdansk. Låg mycket centralt i gamla stan. Rena rum och allmänna utrymmen. Väldigt lugnt med barnfamiljer och ungdomar. Ingen fest och stök. Enda minus var att dörrarna var högljudda och rummen lyhörda. Annars mycket nöjd.

Rekommenderas ej!!

Tyvärr kändes rummet instängt på grund av dålig ventilation. Toalettstolen var ostabil och gungade så fort man satte sig. Det saknades även hårtork i rummet. Det största problemet var dock sängen – efter bara en natt vaknade jag med ryggsmärtor. Madrassen sjönk ner kraftigt i mitten och skapade en obekväm grop som gjorde det svårt att sova ordentligt.

Un hostel idéalement situé en plein coeur de la magnifique ville de Gdansk. Ayant un bébé de 4 mois, nous avons apprécié avoir notre salle de bain privative. Nous avons également apprécié que le personnel nous apporte un lit parapluie. La chambre était propre et les lieux étaient bien entretenus et calmes. Un bon rapport qualité-prix !

Vi kom vid midnatt och ringde till receptionen ingen kom och hjälpte oss, de kunde inte engelska så bra och det var kod lås och vi fick fel rum. Vi bokade en dubbelsäng alltså två enkel sängar och ett rum men fick rum med våningssängar för 6 personer. Vi var inte nöjda och kommer aldrig tillbaka. Det var stökigt och man hörde väldigt mycket ljud utifrån. Ingen tvål och en liten handduk. Dåligt. Boka inte där!

Veldig fin beliggenhet inntil en elv i gamlebyen, med et godt utgangspunkt for å utforske Gdansk til fots. Trikk, buss, butikker og spisesteder i nærheten. Morsomt, gammelt bygg med noen halve etasjer og merkelige løsninger. Dørene ut mot gangen har synlige gliper hvor lyset skinner gjennom, så det som skjer der høres godt. Det kanskje verste med stedet, er mengdene ungdommer som samles i gangene sent på kvelden og natta for å drikke, røyke (både hasj og sigaretter) så hele stedet stinker, le, skrike, ralle og løpe i gangene. Jeg og flere andre rundt prøvde å snakke til dem for å få dem til å slutte, hvor responsen var spytting og den midterste fingeren. Det er helt nødvendig å ha med med ørepropper, men selv med det våknet jeg flere ganger, blant annet fordi et par folk slåss oppetter døren min utenfor fellesbadet. Resepsjonen er ubemannet fra kveld til morgen, så det er ikke mye hjelp å hente der.

The hostel’s location and the children’s playground were great. However, the sheets provided were too small for the beds, which was unusual. Noise easily carried into the rooms — even I could hear it despite being hearing impaired. Some of the hotel staff had trouble understanding basic English, which seems to be a common issue in Gdańsk.
