We stayed 6 nights total, split between a trip to Rapa Nui for the amazing Moai. Check in/outs we're easy, and every individual on the team was friendly at every encounter morning or night. With our limited Spanish, several of team communicated in English to us which was very helpful. One day our room door key pad stopped functioning and the technician was immediately available to reset it and let us back in. To ensure no further issues, and without us asking, they upgraded us to a larger room. I must mention all rooms we're very nice with plenty of hot water in the showers. The breakfast, including cappuccino, was lovely every morning with scrambled eggs fruit toast jam meat cheese and muffins. A couple of times they were gracious in offering it early to accommodate our schedule. At lunch their cafe served delicious homemade meals (of the day) at reasonable prices. We kept having lunch there, along with all the locals which hints at how delicious it is. Weather permitting you can eat outside in the courtyard. There was a small bakery just outside the gated entry, with tons of restaurants all around. Just ask the staff where to go for additional shops and restaurants that you'll feel safe walking to in the evening hours. As far as location, everything you'd want to have nearby is within walking distance - the main square with hop on hop off bus, cathedral, museums, restaurants. We even walked to the Opera House for a tour. We absolutely loved this hotel and would return!
