We had a fabulous stay in Newport recently at the Admiral Sims House. We loved our room and the location was perfect-walking distance to the cliff walk, shops and plenty of places to eat and drink. Marie responded quickly to our questions. I hope we get a chance to stay at the Admiral Sims House again !

This was a lovely stay with an easy check-in/out process! It was spotlessly clean, and very cozy. It's close to the Cliff Walk, but removed enough that it's peaceful and quiet. We didn't sample any of the breakfast, so cannot comment on it. But we would stay again!

I enjoyed staying at the Admiral Sims' House. It was only for one night and the accommodations were nice. The King Suite was very comfortable and had all amenities if I were to stay longer. The Inn was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. They had a nice little breakfast in the lobby on the first floor in the morning. I would definitely recommend staying here. It is far off the beaten path from the hustle and bustle of Thames Street.

Lovely stay in Newport! Walking distance to cliff walk and the main town (10-15 min). Hosts were very friendly. Rooms stocked with bowls and utensils, microwave, sink, keureg, etc. Breakfast was lite bites- yogurt, granola, sweet baked goods. Thanks!

First, I don't usually leave reviews, but felt we needed to for this place - it was a hidden gem in Newport. It is walking distance to everything yet quiet and serene (downtown is a bit of a longer walk but very doable). It is very clean and the staff was very helpful, and the large porch is a beautiful place to have breakfast or relax and read. The variety of homemade baked goods and fresh fruit for breakfast were perfect. It is a particularly great spot if you are visiting the Tennis Hall of Fame. We will definitely be making this our place to stay when we visit Newport again.
