The Lansdowne

The Lansdowne

10/10 Excellent
"Lovely and charming accommodation, warm and friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and perfect location. We had the most delightful experience at the Lansdowne and I would recommend highly to any travelers or couples seeking a Cotswolds getaway. Queens Hotel Cheltenham

Queens Hotel Cheltenham

8/10 Good
"Great reception staff, helpful and professional. Hotel is interesting and characterful. Comfortable well decorated room with decent linen. Decent breakfast but porridge was a bit watery A few downsides…… A lot of noise from the bar opposite until 11.30 and there is only single glazing because of its age. Heating from the A.C. panel was slow in heating the room, however the central heating kicked in during the night and the pipes were noisy with the constant sound of running water in the room. Shower in the morning was no more than a tepid trickle even when set to fully hot. Grubby curtains and no nets in the room although other rooms had them. Wouldn’t stay again as there are plenty of options in this price range. Parking expensive at £17 for residents."
