The hotel is very beautiful for being in what I would call a ghost town. The town is truly eerie, but it’s worth the visit because the waterfalls are spectacular. However, I can’t say the same about the hotel. The front desk staff was always friendly, but they only had one person managing the entire hotel. I made a reservation for 5 people and was only given 3 towels. I spent an entire day waiting for the towels, called more than 6 times, and their excuses were that they were being washed or that there wasn’t enough staff.
Another issue was that from the day we arrived, trash from other rooms was left in front of ours for over a day, and the hallway started to smell like dirty toilet paper. The hotel itself is very nice, but it seems all the problems stem from a lack of staff. Although the hotel’s restaurant is expensive, the food is delicious.
Lastly, the sofa bed in the studio for 5 people was terrible—an old mattress that would be better replaced with the floor. We struggled a lot with this.
The hotel is beautiful and close to the park, but please improve the facilities for 5 people or simply don’t offer the service. Also, clean the rooms! My family and I had to do the housekeeping for our room, which is absurd.
