Family trip - Nice & quaint hotel. Very boho vintage vibe, lots of lights. Great ambiance. Lots of nice amenities available. Room was clean. I gave only four stars, however, for a couple of reasons. We booked a standard room with a king bed that said we could purchase a roll away for our child but when we got there, they said that was wrong, that standard rooms don’t come with the roll away option and we would have to pay for an upgrade, except the building that we’d upgrade to would have no wifi or tv due to current issues. For our inconveniences though, they did comp us for the upgrade, the cost of the roll away, and parking, which was great. The advertising of the roll away on the standard room I feel is more of a hotels.com fault anyway and should be updated. Also, I don’t agree with having to pay for parking on top of the hotel charge, it should be included, but again, we were comped, so didn’t affect us this time. Overall, I really liked the hotel and would stay again if ever back in the area. They also have a free shuttle to Universal Studios, which was right on the other side of the freeway, so that was nice. My only other complaint is the noise from the freeway. We were on the other side of the hotel not facing the freeway and you could still hear it loudly with the door shut. I know not much can be done about that though and after awhile you zone it out. Still a very nice hotel and highly recommend.
