A jewel!

Hubby and I were on a several-week trip from Georgia out West, and this was truly the nicest place we stayed! There aren't many restaurants around, but the hotel itself could not have been nicer, nor the staff any more courteous or accommodating. There was a complimentary breakfast that was better than most we had along our way, and the whole property was very stylish and worked beautifully with the culture and Native American history of the area. Would love to have the opportunity to stay here again!

Top quality hotel, excellent breakfast

Even as you approach, you can tell this is going to be a quality experience. Everything was excellent, very clean. They do have an exclusion of all alcohol, and the heat of the day had me yearning for a beer. Breakfast was particularly good: sausage, eggs and home fries for hearty appetites, but also fruit, yogurt, cereal, rolls--the gamut of goodies. This is the oasis.

Great place but sign your life away for no alcohol

It is a beautiful hotel but it would have been nice to know we had to sign a pledge that we had no alcohol on us in the rooms. There were hefty penantlies so we were not going to disobey it, but we wish we would have known beforehand.

hôtel de caractère

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cet hôtel. Le check in s'est bien passé et nous avons pris très rapidement possession de nos chambres. Attention : pas d'alcool dans le pays Navajo ! L'établissement semble neuf et la décoration est très dépaysante. Par contre, il ne fait pas restaurant. nous avons donc dîné au Denny's situé juste à côté de l'hôtel. Vous n'avez pas le choix si vous ne souhaitez pas prendre la voiture. Les enfants ont terminé la soirée dans la piscine de l'hôtel. Quant aux parents, ils ont bouquiné pour les visites du lendemain. Le petit déj est copieux et vous ne manquez de rien : gaufres, pancakes, charcuterie.... Le séjour fut excellent. Seul bémol : la ville est triste et si vous allez faire un tour dans celle-ci, vous pourrez voir de nombreuses maisons abandonnées. La crise de 2008 a fait des ravages et est encore omniprésente. Le check-out a été très rapide. Le personnel est omniprésent et a le sens du service. Excellent hôtel pour ceux qui souhaitent découvrir le pays des navajos sans les hordes de touristes.

A different experience!

Very interesting experience! before booking this hotel, please make sure that you don't want to drink alcohol or smoke. Alcohol is prohibited in all hotel areas, even they make you sign a paper that you cant drink in your room alone otherwise you pay a fine of 250$ !!! This is related to Indian traditions. The staff was not so friendly as in other areas in the US. You cannot buy alcohol in any shop in Tuba city even not in restaurants, smoking is prohibited in public areas. If you are OK with these rules ... Then everything else is good. The hotel itself is very nice, nice interior, beautiful rooms.

Hot water went out - had to ask for a rebate on rate. Should have told us there would be a rebate instead of asking for one.

We are so glad we chose this hotel as part of our road trip through the canyons and valleys of Utah and Arizona. The Navajo atmosphere was very friendly and relaxing. Room was very clean and comfortable. The pool was refreshing after a long day on the road. Highly Recommend

Awesome hotel!

We were on the road trip and staying in different hotels every day. The Moenkopi was very nice surprise in the middle of the trip and my kids asked me every day if we can go back there. Built with local style, nice pool and large comfortable rooms. Awesome find in the middle of the desert, would stay there again!

Seul bémol, avais réservé une chambre 2 Queen beds pour 3 adultes, total plus de place, le troisième a dormi dans un convertible (mais correct)...

Optimalt läge, fint och trevligt hotell.

Optimalt läge i en liten stad där det är mest indianer som bor. Staden ligger nära Grand Canyon, Monument Valley och även Lake Powell. Hotellet är fint, nybyggt i indian stil, rent. Det är enkelt att parkera. Trevlig personal. Pool. Fitness. Enkel frukost.

Good hotel in a great location.

Good hotel in a great location. Was here just for one night. Free parking, breakfast and WIFI. Hotel staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was fine, nothing to shout about but made a nice change to awesome fresh fruit! The only negative was the WIFI. Having had very poor 3G coverage I had hoped to use the hotel WIFI. It was SOOOOOOOO SLOW. It took me back to the days of dial up access in 1990!

Une oasis au coeur de Tuba City

Bel hôtel avec de belles prestations : piscine et jacuzi superbes, chambres pour 4 très spacieuse (lit et canapé-lit séparé par la salle de bain), petite boutique ďobjets artisanaux. Un restaurant Denice juste à côté, pratique. Excellent séjour.

Excellent value for money.

This hotel was a lovely overnight stay on part of an epic road trip. We needed a hotel between Grand Canyon and Monument Valley. Lovely hotel & friendly helpful staff. The outside pool looked lovely but we were too tired to use it!
