Definitely a historic hotel, not in pristine condition but that’s to be expected. Hallway had a small (1-2”) chunk of decorative wall molding that had broken off, small area of wallpaper by the elevator lifting from the wall, etc. Remodeled to be modern style, room was very nice but in an instagram way—(looks great in pics but closer look in real life makes it feel less magazine worthy and more ‘normal’)—flooring slightly bowed in one area, chain lock missing a screw, light above one of the beds didn’t work for some reason, tub fixtures obviously well worn over time. Being in a big city, noise cannot be helped. Room was facing the train tracks so decent amount of rumble from that but ended up almost being white noise it was so frequent. Overall, fun being in a historic hotel in an awesome location and reasonable price. Worth it for 1 night getaway but not sure if I’d do more or not
