When I arrived they only had a second floor but I could not take the stairs. I ended up buying another hotel room several miles away but could not get the second night. They did not handle this situation well. This had the same feel as a Super 8 2 star. I will be writing a bigger review on google and yelp. The biggest take-away for me is, do not book through hotels.com and get insurance, because it is more complicated to use it then to just pay for it. The worst experience and lack of help for a simple issue I have experienced, and I am going to use every skill I professionally possess to review the experience with all these agencies. The hotel was friendly, but the owners and administrators treated me like “not their problem” and instead of making it write, pointed to Expedia who say it’s the site, only to check insurance to find submitting a claim as a full time job! I hope I am not understanding how angry and incense I am about the customer service of this experience the actual hotel experience we all see all the time but I cannot reconcile spending so much money to get no benefit or help regardless whose fault they think that is in typical of all insurance maybe they just think it’ll go away instead. I promise I’m gonna treat this like a job proposal and call it all out, but the simple fact is I care more about this than apparently anyone involved in the company side of this experience and that’s gonna change after this. .
