During our trip to Albania, we stayed at a hotel in Shkodër. Its central location was convenient, but it turned out to be a disadvantage at night due to the noise — it was hard to sleep.
We were able to stay in the same room with three friends, which was an advantage for us. However, the breakfast was disappointing. The items were not prepared with much care — the cake was dry, and the cheeses seemed a bit stale. The drinks (tea and coffee) were served from a bar-like area, and you couldn’t get them whenever you wanted. When we handed our cups to the barista for hot drinks, she served us with an unpleasant expression.
On the bright side, the reception staff were kind and friendly.
