This property was literally a dream and the location is right in the heart of Athens so close to everything! We stayed in Cotton which is basically like a one bedroom apartment that was super spacious and even had a washer for us to do our laundry halfway through our trip! We even had a towel warmer to heat our towels. The host was super attentive to anything we needed and so kind and we will definitely be back if we are in Athens in the future! 10/10 recommend! Do not sleep on this spot!!

This place is just awesome and we highly recommend it. The apartment is beautiful inside, very clean and comfortable. Great upscale neighborhood with fantastic eateries and shops nearby. Most of all was the responsiveness and caring from our hosts Aphrodite and Karen who were so very friendly and helpful in all aspects. Thank you!

We stayed in Cotton and it was absolutely beautiful, so clean and tidy, a place for everything. The bed was so comfortable and the bedding and towels were very high quality. The bathroom included luxurious toiletries, robes and slippers. The location was perfect, Syntagma Square was literally 4 mins walk away where you could get a bus or the underground. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from right outside the door. I have stayed in Athens several times before and this was by far the best, I would definitely stay again.

This property is a gem. The location is ideal, right in the center of the Monastiraki area. It is very new and has all the conveniences one could look for. Tasteful modern furnitures. The kitchen is so beautiful and complete. The AC is super cool, big refrigerator, a stove. It even has a washer which we really appreciate. We booked the Cotton apartment; it is so spacious for two people. The staff are very nice and helpful especially Karen. I particularly love the toiletries that they provide( Naxos Apothecary). I highly recommend this property. I would still choose to stay here the next time we visit.

The location of this apartment made all the attractions easily within walking distance. And the communication is dialed in - with super helpful emails and near immediate response through Whatsapp. Also, there was some trouble with a taxi strike and on the way back to the airport the cleaning staff worked with me doggedly to have a friend transport us and made sure we made it in the car and were taken care of. Stellar support and service for a place that does not have a front desk!

The apartment was clean and very well situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Plaka. Surrounding amenities were superb with Ergon House & bakery just a 2 min walk away. We loved having a washing machine & our private terrace. Our main complaint is that our towels were not changed despite housekeeping coming thrice. More importantly, we also didn't have hot water on the morning we arrived and on our 4th night after an entire day out. We appreciated the early check in on our arrival date, the location & cleanliness of the apartment.

After two weeks of cramped hotel rooms in Europe with my two teenage kids, staying at Silk and Cotton in Plaka was a total game-changer. The apartment had two bedrooms and two bathrooms – super spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect: walking distance to all the big sights and surrounded by great restaurants, bars, and cafés. We hit a heat wave while we were there, and the AC worked like a charm – huge plus! The owner was super friendly and gave us great local tips. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Athens with family or another couple!

One of the best hotels that we've ever booked. The apartment-style suite was exactly as featured on the website and gave our family room to plenty of room to stretch out and relax as well as prepare meals. Great finishes and furniture and all the amenities we needed. The location was incredibly ideal as there were hundreds of restaurants and retail locations just outside our door. Karen was fantastic, providing us with recommendations and friendly face throughout our visit. Would highly recommend Silk n Cotton to anyone looking for a great stay in central Athens.
