The hotel is ok, but has seen better days.
The location is good, just behind Copacabana Palace.
Strangely enough, there is a charge of 20R$ to leave your bags if you arrive earliier than your check-in time, which is very odd.

The hotel's location is great. It's within walking distances to shops, restaurants, and the beach. Check-in was easy. Breakfast was good with varieties of items on the menu. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were hard not comfortable. Didn't like the fact that I had to pay for the hotel to keep my luggage because I arrived before check-in time. Hotel towels were old, worn and stained. I had to ask Housekeeping to replace my towels. Overall, my stay was good.
