This place is great! Very cute decor and right next to the beach with an amazing view. Check in was super easy. My daughter loved the giant tub, too!

Amazing! The view was everything I hoped for!!! The room smelled pleasant and clean, the room was so cute! Will stay again and recommend to all I know! I loved how it was in between Newport and Lincoln city so travel to both was convenient.

This place is amazing! Each room has a balcony that overlooks the beach and the ocean. This place really earns its name, because the sunset from the room was gorgeous! There is a short walk to the beach. The room was clean, decorated with beach decorations, and I loved the electric fireplace that was in the room.

LOUD CONSTRUCTION NEXT DOOR. Do not book if want a quiet location. No on site staff. Cleaning person could not speak English. Minimal maintenance and upkeep. Will not stay again.

We enjoyed our stay and the view was beautiful. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet which was perfect for us. The balcony was enjoyable to watch the sunset however we could have benefited from a small table on the balcony to play games. There was a small table inside the room but it did not fit through the doorway so we couldn't move it outside. There was also a jetted tub and a fireplace but we did not use either. All in all we had a comfortable stay and would do it again. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Clean, nice location with good views except for current construction nearby. Nice tub. Low rating for staff because neighbors directly above made a HUGE amount of noise ALL NIGHT. Sounded like they were dragging furniture across the floor and banging away like they were remodeling. Reported problem to management, who said they would reach out to offending guest by phone or send someone to the property if not able to reach them. However, nothing changed and they kept us awake ALL night. Then dumped thier ice chest water right over our doorway, so freezing water dripped on us as we loaded up!!

This place was very small and quiet. The property has 12 rooms, but each room has a balcony with a good view of the ocean. We had a spacious room with a king size bed. It came with a small refrigerator and a microwave. It had a Roku TV, which was easy to manage. The room was well stocked with towels. It had a Keurig coffee maker with plenty of coffee. The room was very nicely decorated and updated recently. It also has a large Jacuzzi tub along with a walk-in shower. We were very happy with this place. The only complaint I would have is that somewhere in the information on the hotels.com website should be check-in instructions. The hotel does not have a main office or lobby to check in with. When you get there, you call the phone number that is on their sign and they will give you your room number and a code for the lockbox that has the key to the room in it. When we called the lady was very helpful and very nice. We stayed on the line until we were sure we could get into the door. There is a store about a mile north of the place if you need things and the town of Depoe Bay is about another mile south of that. There is beach access but because of construction right next-door you cannot cross their parking lot to get to the trail. If you walk out onto Highway 101 and go south about a two minute walk you will find the trail down to the beach. We really enjoyed this place and we’ll come back again

Rm 74 (in building 4) seemed recently repainted/decorated which was nice. Comfy king bed and beautiful ocean view. Clean if you ignore the ceiling fan, bathroom floor caulk areas, small corner window frames (including missing handle) and all the bird droppings outside the front door. The resort area and other buildings are completely under construction and there is no front desk so must call a number upon arrival to obtain lockbox code for keys. We left a VM and received a call back 5 minutes later with the info. I’d recommend staying on the phone until you actually get in the room (to ensure you can obtain the keys and get in the door). Having said all that, given the lower price (compared to other ocean front view places) and that we were only there 1 night from 5:30pm until 7:30am, it worked fine therefore 3 stars. Tonka trucks/hard hats were already working in the morning when we left. I would not stay more than 1 night in a place under that much construction. Also we drove and paid to park at Fogarty Creek then walked to the beach (instead of walking from the room) given having to walk through the construction site, walking on a busy 101 with no sidewalks, navigating a steep trail down a hill to the beach.

Not having a front desk was a little strange, but the ladies at the answering service solved all my problems. It would be nice to have ice cube trays already in the refrigerator, since there’s no ice machine. The bed and the view were both great.

The STUNNING ocean views MORE than made up for the complete lack if amenities Check in by code but the phone was answered by a friendly helpful lady. The bed was comfy and the place was clean. There is no beach access but a 1/2 mile north there is access off Division street

We stayed on the top floor, room #78. The view was amazing! Plenty of space, good amenities and a Keurig with lots of pods! I would recommend this place and we will absolutely be returning.

The parking lot looks like a construction zone but the room and location were great. Good mattress, Fridge, micro and Keurig coffee. Outside patio with unobstructed view of beach. Very enjoyable.

Excellent view when standing on the balcony. It was my first time at a hotel without a front desk. But there is a number I was able to call when I had questions. Really nice quality sheets and pillows. There is construction next door and I was worried about hearing construction noise in the morning, but thankfully that didn’t happen. It is an older property but it’s nice that they have updated the floors and got rid of the carpet. Note: there is no elevator. A few of the rooms are at street level and wouldn’t require stairs but the majority do.

My husband and I have stayed here a few times, even before it was Sunset Haven. The view is always amazing, the building is quiet and there is a private balcony. This property is probably less than 2 miles from Depoe Bay. Check in, even without an onsite office, was extremely simple. My only complaint is the bed. It was way too firm. I didn’t sleep well on it. My husband slept ok, but not great. When you pull into the parking lot it’s a bit confusing because a large part of what was formerly the parking lot is a construction zone. Stay to the right and pull up to the last building to the far right. There is a small sign on the railing with the name on it as well as a phone number to call. Call the number and they will give you a number for the key box. The key box contains two room keys. There is no daily service for your room, but they left enough towels for our 3 night stay. We enjoyed our stay.

The good- The view was amazing ! The staff who answered the phone for check in and wifi password was nice and helpful. The room itself had an open feeling which was nice. The bad- The headboard was cloth. And disgusting. Had hair all over it. One side had crusty white stuff on it. There was hair on the side of the tub. There was NO beach access. There is construction and I had already read reviews so expected it. The construction wasn’t an issue but I can see how a sign for the hotel as you turn off the highway would be helpful. There was an open hole on the wall with open cords. Really cheap and ugly looking.
