For starters there was a woman on an absolute power trip working at the front desk. She very nearly didn’t let us check in because we were with a 17 year old who apparently needed to be accompanied by a parent/guardian despite it not stating this anywhere on the booking. This woman also stood in the corridor looking for an opportunity to have a go at us for “being too loud” despite nobody complaining about this.
There was food shoved behind one of the beds from the previous guests and rust all over the shower and shower curtains, as well as no hot water coming from the tap, aside from when this tap would randomly switch on without being touched. There was also no way to change the temperature in the room so it was either boiling hot or freezing.
The security deposit was also upped from £20 to £50 in between the time that I booked the room and went to check in, which I was not made aware of until I checked in. Finally, there were very peculiar rules posted up around the hotel, such as no pyjamas in the lobby??
Overall would not recommend, will not be coming back!
