Its uniqueness to us was it is just 5 minutes away from The start line of the Rotorua Marathon. Our meal on the evening was fantastic. My steak. Compliments to the chef was perfect. 10 out of 10. As was my daught n laws lamb shank. Her favourite just fell off the bone. Great service. Lovely comfortable room. All in all a fabulous place to stay. Definetly recomend to our friends. Cheers. It was unfortunate that the access to the accommodation on the Sunday evening on which we were arriving was to shut at 7:30pm- fortunately someone phoned us to advise of this! On the following Friday evening the music entertainment kept us awake until 11.15p.m. Apart from the above we were quite happy with the accommodation.

It was extremely central to all shops, bars restaurants, the building seems very tired. We had a disabled double room which meant we had a wet room style shower - v good. Bedding-sheets very white and clean , but the quilt was full of stains and looked very old -did not use. The room very dated. Not sure how price compares to other accommodation so maybe it’s cheap to stay
