"The host is a fantastic person. We were kind of lost, instead of the guesthouse we were at the apartments and fortunately we met the host at the apartments. She took us to the guesthouse - driving alongside us, provided us with food items and her daughter-in-law provided with list of place to see. Rooms were great. Best part was the cleanliness. We were provided with house slippers. There were 2 dogs that were friendly and greeted the visitors..fantastic and loved it a lot. Thanks!"

"Staff is extremely welcoming and informative. The apartment we were in was clean and maintained. The room had a sauna that was difficult for us to use (never used that type before) but the hot tub was the best! The drive down the scenic road was great and we loved seeing the horses. Price was very reasonable. Highly recommend staying. "

"My family stayed here for 2 nights while we explored the South Coast. The cabin we stayed in was very cute. The farmland surrounding the property was very peaceful. My only complaint was that I breakfast was not included in our stay, even though I thought the booking said it was. Also, the management was not overly helpful with local recommendations when I reached out to them."

"We stayed in 5 different accommodations as we toured around Iceland and this was my favorite. It was the most peaceful and calm. Well equipped and in a good location. Horses right outside our door in the surrounding fields. An adorable tiny house!"

"Rooms were very spacious, quiet and comfortable! Bathroom and shower were great. We liked the key code system of room access as opposed to plastic keys. Management and housekeeping staff were very helpful and cooperative. We stayed for 5 days and in the middle, we had to transition from Booking to Expedia. Upon calling the management they made it seamless, and we did not have to switch rooms! Downsides: despite high quality Nespresso coffee pods, no sugar or milk! And no tea bags either!...

The photos around the guest house that share a little history about the place add a nice touch too. I would definitely go back there."

"Our room was stacked with conveniences including stove top, microwave, toaster, crockery and cutlery. All very welcome and unusual for Iceland. The only negatives were low water pressure in the shower and the distance to the nearest supermarket (13kms). I would recommend South Central for a short extended stay. "
