noise, noise, noise....the street noise was not the problem, it was a paper thin walls and the very loud neighbours that yelled at each other until 2 am and when they awoke at 8 am. would not return.

Great price for such a luxurious hotel
The hotel was really nice inside and the staff was helpful. The room was pretty big (it even had a little antechamber) and I had a very nice view of the city from the 10th floor. The bed was a bit hard, but that's just how beds are in Brazil so come prepared for that. The best part of my stay though was the breakfast. So many different kinds of bread, waffles with chocolate sauce, fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, sausage, bacon, and four different types of fruit juice. It was a FEAST.

This hotel was in a more residential neighborhood. We were able to walk to a square in less than 5 minutes. The squire had plenty of places to eat.
The hotel was comfortable and the staff were very friendly. Most staff took time to answer our questions with a smile even though English was not their first language. They had bellhops; this might be common in Brazil but I was really surprised given the cost of the hotel. We were also surprised with the complimentary breakfast. They had a full buffet breakfast with lot of hot items and a wide selection of fresh fruit.
If we every go to Rio again, we will try to stay here.

O melhor do hotel é a localização, quase ao lado do metrô e muito perto do Aterro do Flamengo. Por perto você pode encontrar diversas opções de alimentação. A equipe foi muito cordial durante toda a estadia. O único ponto que eu acho que poderiam revisar são as mesas do restaurante. Poderiam ter mesas menores para casais ou viajantes solo.
