Pre-check in was unsatisfactory. Called the hotel a week ahead to confirm type of rooms because we were with a UofMD pre surgical patient who needed a roll in shower. After lengthy conversation, was told we had one roll in shower room and a tub/shower combination which was okay,but on different floors. This was not convenient, but would manage. The day before arrival, got a call that our credit card was declined. Gave them another card number which was charged, but the original credit card was charged, as well. When I called back to inquire why this happened, no real answer. I inquired about rooms again and was told they did not have what I had requested because the hotel was full. I restated my request and reason for same. After a bit of time, I was told we had rooms on the first floor with showers as requested. Upon arrival, was told credit card was declined again. I informed them that they had placed charges on it the day before and Chase had confirmed card was active. They put it through and it worked. I am quite concerned about why this happened 3 times and why they kept asking for another card.
