Multiple disappointments
We booked this space for a spot in Toronto as a family. Let's be clear, it is a space and definitely not a hotel. That is made abundantly clear when you are in the building as there are signs all over the place mentioning that this is a condo and short term visitors need to respect that. The location was great for the trip, with it close to most of the things we were planning on doing and to Union station for any train trips. The space was also large enough for the four of us with seperate sleeping spots for the kids and a large balcony for late night desserts. Those were the highlights though.
On the down side though, there were a few. First the space was beat up. There was plenty of wall damage and throughout the space, the patio door was missing the handle and lock, the window in the bedroom was broken, and the light in the bedroom was not working either. There was a room control touchpad at the front which was inoperable. The small couch that turned into a bed for our son had "seen some stuff" and felt worn in and lumpy. While marketed as a futon/bed it is basically a recliner chair. Luckily our son is small and was able to find a sleeping position but this would not be an option for a teen or an adult.
The elevators were continually out of service or over capacity. There was signage for this limiting the number of passengers and luggage to 10 people (which was under the manufactured limited of 16) due to the fact that it caused the elevators to break and require mainte
