Charming old house with simple rooms and a wonderful common area referring to the regional tradition. Large kitchen available. Note: the property does not provide towels.

Valerie(I think her name was) was an excellent hostess and was very kind and hospitable. I recommend her place if you are passing through Pyrenees and on to Spain. She accommodated my dogs and recommended some walks to go on

2/10 Poor

The main reason for the poor review is because we suspect we were given bed bugs at this property. On our second night at this property, one of our party members noticed 3 sets of very itchy bites on their arms and chest. This was after showering and while laying in bed with the supplied blanket. The blanket did not appear to be very clean, but was a furry red blanket which made it very hard to inspect. The blanket was needed for warmth as it was quite cold, but in hindsight shouldn't have been used. The bites were suspected to be bed bugs as they only appeared in groups of 3 (classic bed bugs) and were all in a line across a common seam in the blanket. This caused an incredible amount of stress to our party members and will be a lasting negative memory of this trip. We not only needed to deal with this for the remainder of our trip, but we risk exposing our homes to this infestation and needed to clean decontaminate the belongings upon our return. If there were no bed bugs, we would give a 3 star review. The property was quite cute and in a very nice location in the mountains. Beautiful views from the property, very cheap compared to others (for a price) and a very freindly owner. However, it wasn't the cleanest. There were dozens of flies all over the place including in the bedrooms. The bathroom smelled of mildew and did not appear to be very clean. The toilet didnt flush properly. It pains me to leave such a negative review, but it is my obligation to report bed bugs.
