Check in, especially after hours, is non-orthox when compared to checking in at a hotel. If you FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS, it works very well. Property is very nice and modern and located in a supurb location. Very secure building and underground parking. Lots of amenities in the apartment and surrounding area. Staff was friendly, helpful and very responsive. I highly recommend.

Great location. Sheets on one bed and in closet were not clean. Took 1.5 days to get new sheets. Check in all done by email as no staff onsite.

This is a private residence and rental. Very difficult check in. Furniture is shabby. One bedroom was stifling hot, could not control the overall temp. The window blinds did not shut to block the city lights at night. We asked for but did not receive wifi password until almost check out time! Water pressure was minimal and there were few working lights!

This is essentially an airb&b type condo. As such the check-in process is unique. Be sure to bring the printed directions emailed to you which will aid you in this. Also kind of odd that I had to go to the 37th floor to take the stairs to my room on 35. Whatever. Super convenient location near Union station and the convention center. While only a block or so from the station it is a little confusing which door to access as ‘ice’ is a multi building complex and ‘ice2’ is the tower in the center. Once in however (with an elevator and door fob) this place while small has everything you would want for an extended stay. Decent size cooktop, oven and refrigerator as well as a washer and dryer. Dinged a couple of stars on communication as there was a fire alarm at 2:30 am. After waiting downstairs for the all clear, noticed everyone headed back up to their rooms so I followed them. Just as I was back in bed and drifting off, only then did the alarm return with an all clear announcement. Grrr.

Fantastic apartment in a premium spot! The apartment was great and company was amazing and easy to deal with. The only issue had nothing to with Globalstay or the apartment - there was only one functioning elevator for our tower so we had to time our outings around long elevator waits. Highly recommend their apartments, we will be back!!

Great place horrendous management of rental

Place itself was great the GlobalStay managing the apartment had extremely poor communication. Require extra deposits and more information on the side after booking and paying on hotels.com. Their representative didnt show up after 20 mins waiting at agreed meeting time. They let us self checkin through a keystorage but I had to let them know representative didnt show. We asked for late checkout if possible and they said to ask within a day of departure even though their own rules state at least 24 hours before departure. They continuously said to re-ask later/they couldnt confirm yet/they couldnt reach their cleaning service all the way up to 20 mins before checkout time at which point they didnt respond at all.

The apartment was great, the view was awesome, it could have been more clean, one of the elevators were out of service so it made going in and out of the apartment very timely, the fire alarms went off at 5am 2 out of 4 nights there. The check in process was harder than it should have been. I never felt unsafe, and you hear normal city traffic from down below which is expected staying in a city. The apartment location was perfect for access to the city and lots of transportation options easily accessible, grocery store is located right across the street as well.

The location was excellent! We booked this property as we were attending a concert in downtown Toronto and we were literally 1 block from the Scotia Bank Centre! Place was clean, beds were super comfortable. Only issue was the communication with the company that handles the rental. They did not respond quickly at all. No one answers the phone. They communicated through What's app but again no responses. We asked for a late check out but no one responded so we had to leave and lug all of our luggage around downtown until it was time to catch an Uber to the airport. When I expressed my frustration after we left they responded right away. Super inconvenient!

I loved the condo, it was perfect. But the treatment i got from the security gurad on duty in the building and the cleaning lady the next day was unacceptable. Firstly, it does state self check in but the security guard said he had to let me and there is no self check in. I waited 40 mins, was late for my concert because this guy thought it was funny to mess with me. I paid over $400 and i was not able to access my room because of the security gurad. He made me fill out the same form twice and this is after showing him my receipt and all the other paperwork i had. He was taking pics of my licence and thats when i daid something and calling the cops. Then in the morning i had a late check out (pre arranged) for 12 and at 12:04 the cleaning lady is at the door yelling that she is busy and doesnt have time. All my belongings were sitting at the door, i was collecting the garbage to dispose and then i was leaving. I told her i basically just slept there so the cleaning will be minimal and aplogized for being 4 mins late. She went on to say very rude things intending i did other things in the room, im not sure if she had the wrong person or what. I'd love to say id come stay again because i loved the apartment and the location. The cost is insane when you are boardline being harassed by both security and the cleaning staff for nothing wrong. Im very quiet, polite and clean. I feel like deserve some money back from the haharassment ad makikg me late for the concert i was seeing.

My room was on the 61st floor, so excellent views inland of Toronto with a peek of the water. Had a full-size fridge, washer, dryer and a full set of other appliances, its staying in an apartment after all, not an hotel room. Great location next to Union station and very close to the water front with lots of shops and attractions. Overall very nice, it was clean except for the bathroom light switch which was very dirty. Also the dryer made a loud rattling during use because the upper panel is loose, putting something heavy on it dampened the noise. Very quiet and excellent climate control system that silently maintained the perfect temperature. I would stay here again next time I am in the city.

Stayed here with our family. All in all we enjoyed the location but found the organization operations rental difficult to deal with. I WILL NOT be using Global Stay again. My detailed review is below. Kids enjoyed the Hozier concert. Check I. Location was great. Check in process was confusing. We discovered that there were not enough blankets for the number of beds in our room. When I messaged them about it they insisted there were and did not offer a resolution to the problem. Late the first night We found the sofa bed dirty and unclean. There were several dirty sheets folded up into it. Since it was late we got to work and washed the sheets so there was a clean bed. I pointed this out to them and asked for a discount - they advised that since we did not take photos of the condition of the bed they wouldn’t offer one. I called them several times and they did not answer my calls regarding the matter. I also messaged them through WhatsApp and by email - they pretty much ignored my messages and emails taking days to respond to my requests. This was a sharp contrast to how quickly they would let us know there was an up charge we had to pay for.

The view was breathtaking. The condo was very comfortable, but there was the odd problem with patio door, not locking bathroom doors hard to slide open and close. Dryer was not working in the room properly despite all this we enjoyed our holiday very much here and would do it again.

The whole check-in process was a bit complicated. The directions provided to us were not clear. We arrived at the back by the parking garage so that threw us off a bit. We missed the big sign in kiosk outside of the complex. Walked in behind a resident and missed the outdoor kiosk. So my advice… park your car were they tell you. Walk to the doors of the building you are in(we were in 14). On the right is the sign in kiosk. As their directions state, once you put in your code the doors will unlock. Walk in and go straight to elevators and to your room. The parking key fob got us in ok. But we couldn’t operate the elevator doors to our hotel from the garage because we think the fob didn’t work. An extra set of directions to help us get from parking ramp back to the hotel would have been helpful. Once we figured that out, it was breeze!

If I had the time, patience and money I would have looked for another place to stay. I will start about the pluses... the apartment was really nice, however there were stains on the ceiling, the blinds were ripped in one bedroom and the ones in the other room has something on them. There was some type of oil on the kitchen table & there was mold in the bathroom. There was also chipping on some of the corners of the walls. Now it's obviously used for renting out so in the grand scheme of things this wouldn't be an issue HOWEVER this place to deal with..... omfg. I have never had a more horrendous experience in my life dealing with a check in. (And no the front desk is not a front desk but a security guard.) I waited less of a time at Disneyworld at check in than I did here. It took us an HOUR AND A HALF TO GET TO THE ROOM AND PARK THE CAR. (No lines etc. We got there late.) They handled almost everything via email which you have to send pics of your ID, a selfie holding it etc. Ok whatever. But the delay. Now ontop of this you then have to pay a deposit which is stated is you have to if you stay over x amt of days and have a pet. (Neither applied.) So i paid that. We ask the security dude about the parking space & i had to call & email there person. Took forever to get that also. There was no fob we used the intercom to get in. After checking out i was asked how we got to the spot & told the lady (she called and it was like an interrogation.) Like Fobs have memory to check
