We were lucky to have a see view, the room itself was very large and clean and a little dated which didn't detract from our 2 day stay. The communal areas were in better condition and the two pools were lovely, we ate once at the hotel and the breakfast was excellent. All staff were very good and Neolia on reception was particularly pleasant, with nothing to much trouble. Would definately stay again.

The room, though recently painted, had old, scuffed furniture - wardrobe with handle missing, no chest of drawers, mean chairs, no house phone, no safe, no ;lidded waste bin in the bathroom, no water own the hottest weekend of the year ('you can buy some at the bar,' the receptionist informed us) and smelled faintly of cigarette smoke. Dull, featureless. Some friendly staff - Nisha, Pavan, Tommy - though not on reception. Seriously overpriced at £250/night.

Extortionate parking charge

Everything was good. Great sea view from my room. Only gripe was the car park charge of £20.00 per night. I mentioned this on check-out, but the receptionist insisted that they are the cheapest in Bournemouth. This is of course untrue - if you are the cheapest for parking, why not advertise it as a benefit, not keep it under wraps until guests arrive and havevpassed throughvthe car park cameras.

Had a lovely time. Breakfast was very nice, comfortable and friendly staff, Brandon was very helpful. Lovely comfy bed. Ten minute walk to the centre of Bournemouth and was uphill coming back! Beach just accross the road but down a zig zag path.

Had a great time at this lovely hotel. Ok maybe needs a little update but the place is charming. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and work hard to make your stay a great experience. The breakfast was great and such a variety. Will definitely be staying again. Thanks so much.

A decent value hotel only a few mins walk from central bournmouth. Its all a bit run down however and the bar is terrible (drinks left for hours on tables and no juice available whatsoever!). Otherwise, staff try hard to be helpful and its is a welcoming place.
