The hotel had been recommended by friends, a couple of weeks before our arrival we decided we had to leave one day earlier than we booked and paid for, we had tried on several occasions prior to our arrival to contact the hotel to advise them of this, unfortunately we received no reply.
Upon arrival we advised reception staff of this, even though we had paid the hotel directly two months prior to arrival, the matter has still not been resolved, and we have not received a refund.
Both of the Michelin star restaurants were fully closed for the time we were there.
My wife booked massages for both of us and a facial for herself. After our massages , my wife enquired where she need to go for her facial, she was advised that there was no facial booked, and there was no availability to have one, even though Alvaro from the Spa had rang our room the day earlier to confirm.We had booked another week here for January, but have since cancelled this , thank god we hadn’t paid for it in advance. It would be impossible to recommend this hotel based on our experience there.
