Pleasant stay with some shortcomings
The bed was very comfortable, the food in the restaurant was excellent, and the staff were friendly & helpful.
However, there was no privacy in the room, which had huge windows onto a common lawn and anyone walking past could see in. It was inappropriate to close the drapes during the day and net curtains would have solved this issue.
Curiously, everything in the room was too short - the clothes rail, the drying line, the ironing board and even the shower curtain that meant the water from the shower flooded the bathroom floor.
The room servicing needed more attention to detail, for example, the puddle in the bathroom was ignored, our mugs were not cleaned on the first morning, and the milk was not replenished on the second.
Nevertheless, it was a pleasant place to stay with beautiful surroundings
