Contacting the property was very difficult, with no response prior to 3:19pm on the day of check in. We had reached out asking about parking, etc. We did not receive check in instructions on time (check in was at 3 but did not hear from the property until 3:19). The “breakfast” was non-existent. The property told me it would be from 7-10 and even sent us a voucher, but when we showed up at the dining room at 7:37, the lights were off and the tables empty. The fire alarm panel was going off regularly the entire time we were there (not the actual alarm, just the panel was beeping). We could hear it from our room. There were also a couple spots of mold in the shower.

Breakfast was good, maybe the best part of this property. Shower was old and gross. Guest room and breakfast room are very dark. Probably by keeping it dark, they can hide some dirtiness of the property? There’s a reason why it’s super affordable compared to other places around the area.

The building and rooms are old. They are renovated, but in a thick coat of paint over cracks in the wall type renovations. The lighting was horrible, even with all the lights turned on. The shared bathrooms aren’t that nice either, and the toilets somehow managed to be dirty every time I had to use it. The only good thing about this place was the breakfast.

First I got the wrong room, which can happen, but then, the new room I got had a big cloak problem, and the smell was horrible.
The rooms are more than old and not recommended at all.
I seem this hotel is just used for laundering money (look up the owner)

This is about a 12min walk to the edge of downtown. It is still within a lively area of hotels and restaurants. They have tried to update the interior which is fine, but it is a bit damp and has carpets in the main hallways. Heads-up they do not have a front desk or admin staff on site but they are very responsive through WhatsApp if you have any issues. I had to message them a couple times and they responded a d helped immediately! The single rooms are small but you get your own bathroom which is nice. There are couches and lounge area as well as a kitchen on the second floor. It is a reasonably priced place to stay and easy to access. Breakfast included was just amazing.

The hotel listed is very misleading and images shows private bathroom and photos that represent a modern feel to the room. In person however it is a more-so a motel or hostel style stay with no private bathrooms and very dated and dirty rooms. Our bed did not even have a headboard as shown in the photos. There is no receptionist on site so it was difficult to even get a hold of anyone. The price is not even competitive and we ended up staying at a different hotel a block away for similar price with significantly higher quality level of stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Brim Hotel! The rooms were spacious and clean! After a long trip around the ring road for 10 days we enjoyed our last two nights at the Brim Hotel! Very relaxing! Within walking distance from everything you can think of!

Nice hotel if you don't want to spend lots!
Some nice touches in the hotel (coffee machine with biscuits & social areas) Good breakfast but limited seating area.
Good size room, very comfy bed! Some bathrooms would benefit from some upgrade.
Location wise, not too much of a walk into the centre and parking was on the street.
