HORRIBLE! By far the worst hotel experience I have ever had - and I stay in hotels around the world (including 3rd world) for business or vacation about 50% of the year, and am not a particularly difficult person to please. Here are just a few examples of how bad this place is:
1- DIRTY - the carpet was disgusting, bathrooms filthy, there was even leftover bits of food near the sofa and a big wad of chewed gum on the kitchen sink. the old towels looked like they had not been washed, and I tried not to look to closely at the sheets
2- STINKY - an awful smell pervades the place, probably from the old carpet
3- DILAPIDATED - in desperate need of renovation. even the coffee-maker was broken
4- NOISY - overlooks the freeway
4- TERRIBLE SERVICE - this is not a real hotel but there should be a minimum of service! For example: we had to wait 20 minutes for the manager to arrive to check us in, despite having emailed and called; he insisted I fill out ALL my credit card details and sign a piece of paper (which no-one should do); only one key for a 2-room appt, and the manager had to be reminded multiple times before bringing a spare 2 days later; security guards seldom at their post (we had to wait 30 min for them in order to give them our keys to "check out"); they never sent me the invoice promised...
I wished I had believed the negative comments before booking this place, instead of thinking they were just picky hard-to-please customers. They were right: DO NOT BOOK
