While there are many Ibagu (meaning 'story' in the Gyeongsang Province dialect) streets around the city, Choryang Ibagu-gil, located closest to Busan Station, is the most famous. It's particularly special because it's the site of many historic spots that appear to have been taken straight from the pages of history books.

Pass Texas Street is a multicultural street where Chinatown festivals take place. You can climb the steep 168-step stairway and be rewarded by spectacular views. There are lots of places to eat and various attractions hidden along Choryang Ibagu-gil. You might want to bring a map or consult a guide so that you don’t miss any of the fascinating hilltop alleys.
