Great reception staff, building in need of TLC
I have stayed at the Radisson on 2 previous occasions, the last being over 5 years ago. At that time i was impressed with the service and quality of the hotel. Unfortunately I cannot say the same this time, although the service, especially from the reception staff was excellent. Shanice and Nigel and the rest of the team (sorry guys, can't remember all your names) were very welcoming and friendly.
The hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment. The condition of the exterior appears to be neglected over the years. The rooms are very outdated and the food (breakfast) was of a poor quality, limited choices, overcooked bacon, bland sausages and failing attention to detail. Very few local choices, and certainty overpriced.
Unfortunately until refurbishment works are carried out, this hotel will not be an option on my future returns to Barbados.
