When we arrived at the hotel, they did not have a room for us. They said they did not show reservation for us, but when I showed them the Expedia confirmation, they said our room was unavailable because it was under construction. They did not have any other rooms. Usually, in my experience, a hotel will do this when they have re-rented your room out at a higher price to someone else.
. They did get us a room at their cost at a sister hotel about a half mile away. They called a taxi to take us up there. However, that room was not nearly so nice as the one that we had in the picture Expedia showed at this hotel for our reservation. Also, we finally got to bed about an hour later than we should have because we had to travel up to the other hotel, wait for them to get the accommodation and so forth.
