The Holiday Inn Watford Junction offers a convenient location, especially for those traveling by train, with easy access to both the station and nearby attractions. Some of the staff were genuinely helpful and went out of their way to assist us during our stay, which made a positive impression. However, this wasn’t consistent across the board, as some staff members seemed disinterested and less attentive.
Our biggest issue was the WiFi. It was, by far, the worst hotel WiFi we’ve ever experienced. Loading a basic email was painfully slow, and we eventually had to head down to the lobby for a more stable connection. If you’re planning on working or streaming from your room, this could be a significant drawback.
Despite these setbacks, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the modern amenities and overall atmosphere of the hotel. If WiFi quality isn’t a top priority for your stay, the hotel still offers good value, especially considering its prime location.
