Shopping in Hiroshima runs the gamut from department stores to speciality shops, gigantic shopping complexes, haute couture fashion, souvenir shops and locally made arts and crafts. The city centre of Hiroshima never goes to sleep, and it's all built around Hondori Street, which features a gigantic shopping arcade covered in glass with hundreds of big-name and indie retailers.
