Property is very nice. Reception was very attentive and had an obvious want to please as is my usual experience when visiting Fiji. Not a huge issue with the security deposit, I have just never have been asked by a resort for a deposit before. On my second day, after scuba diving, I wanted a snack before the Farm to Fork village dinner excursion. Waited 25 minutes to get noticed, 20 minutes to order food and drinks, my dad’s meal came, mine showed up after dad had finished eating. Cancelled my meal and cancelled the Farm to Fork excursion. On our third day, the meal service was poor again, servers were just inattentive and empty glasses sat for 20 minutes, had to ask a passing employee to get our server, 2 rounds of drinks took 90 minutes, then was asked to close my tab and reopen another tab? Never had a meal at the resort after that, we just went to the Port Denarau restaurants. On our fourth day, while returning from dinner at the port, I guess the valet assumed I was a taxi and stopped me from assisting my father out of the car, then asked me to move my car, another valet, who recognized me, came by and saw the puzzled look on my face and fixed the situation. Young children were constantly at adults only pool, employees just ignored it. I never bothered using the pool. Restroom near the dinner restaurant was filthy. By the end of my stay I was pretty fed up with everything. I cannot in good conscience recommend this resort, and I will not be coming back.
